Well this is a little late, but over the Christmas holiday we had a surprise visit from my cousin and her twin boys. The boys were so cute!! They are 10 months old. They just smile and laugh all the time.

We took advantage of the good on Saturday after New Year's and went to the zoo. The boys slept through most of the zoo adventure, but we had a good time.

I'm a little late in posting the pictures of when we decorated for Christmas. So here they are. Better late than never!!
The kitties are good helpers!
Michael had to make sure the tree was just right!
He's so cute!!
I love our new Christmas swag on the entertainment center!
Our stockings and Santa collection!
Michael's stocking!!
The tree!!
This is how I help!!
Our first Nativity scene. Michael's mama gave it to us last year for Christmas. I love nativity scenes!
Our snowmen. Aren't they cute?
The wreath on our front door.
Now fast forward to Christmas morning! As a joke I decided to fill up Michael's big stocking!! I was afraid I didn't buy enough to fill it up, but I ended up buying too much, so I used both of his stockings. I think he was surprised. We had a good Christmas. We went to Baton Rouge the weekend before Christmas to celebrate with Michael's family. I had to work on Christmas eve so we came back to Fort Worth for Christmas. We spent a lazy Christmas morning at home. We went up to my mom's in the afternoon and had fun with them.
Look at all the gifts Santa left!!
We both got cookie cutters.
Sometimes I give Michael not so subtle hints. He needs to take vitamins!
I got the Estee Lauder blockbuster!!
Hmmm, what's in this big box?
It's the nail gun I wanted!!
Look at all these nails!!
Santa left Michael a Pac-man game that hooks into the tv.
The kitties really enjoyed Christmas morning. They had so much fun playing in the boxes and chewing on the paper.
Overall another great Christmas!! We are so thankful for all the many blessings that Christmas day has made possible for us!!
When we were little, we would beg mom "Please, just let us open one present early" . We were relentless, we wouldn't stop until finally on the night of Christmas Eve she would give in and let us open one present. She would carefully select just the present and give it to us all to open early. Somehow, every year she had magically selected new pajamas for us all to wear!! This year I had to work on Christmas Eve. When we got ready to go to bed, there was a gift waiting for me in the bed. I opened it and found pajamas!! Michael remembered that I liked that tradition and bought me pajamas! This is sort of a big deal because he was very adamant on not opening any presents early!!
